School Aged Intervention

Once a child leaves kindergarten, all the learning at school is heavily language dependent. We focus on working with the concepts and vocabulary within your child’s curriculum to promote the best use of your child’s time and the best chances to generalize the learning across all the settings that your child is engaged in. We will address articulation, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, auditory processing, reading and writing skills.

For children with more significant challenges, we focus on working with the teachers, doctors, and the IEP team to promote progress on these goals in the home or at school. We can help program and use any augmentative communication devices that are introduced as needed.
